Greyson Monroe's career is characterized by its diversity, encompassing roles as an orchestral musician, recitalist, and chamber musician.

An avid performer and advocate for contemporary classical clarinet, Monroe has premiered various new music compositions by IU composers, as well as performed in the Music Scoring for Visual Media ensemble.

Monroe was a bass clarinet fellow at the Lake George Music Festival in Lake George, New York. there, he played in the festival orchestra under Roger Kalia and participated in a masterclass with William Purvis. Monroe served as the solo bass clarinetist of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra for three years under Richard Giangiulio. He was also selected as a Texas All-State Clarinetist for three consecutive years.

Monroe is currently in his third year at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music pursuing a bachelor’s degree in clarinet Performance. Monroe’s main teachers include Eli Eban, Sam Boutris, and Howard Klug.
